If it was one item perhaps, but all those various components can't have had bad chrome from the factory as they come from multiple sources. The bike was exposed to something.
Doubt all those separate parts came from the same batch of chrome plating or vendor for that matter.
Means whatever is happening to it has happened after production probably... can't see how that is a dealer/MoCo issue but you can always try.

Storing Chlorine or something in the garage?
Where are you storing the bike??? I saw a crazy bike that got seriously corroded on one side, in a shed covered but a big pile of fertilizer on the other side of the shed. The side of the bike facing the pile was toast.

I have to spray my chrome and polished parts with corrosion protectant a couple of times during storage because of warm humid salt air from road salt and a heated garage. It doesn't take much to damage the finish..
