I am very happy with my Long Ride shields. I have a 10" Thresher and the 11" Stingray on my '16 RGS. I can't tell a huge difference between the two heights as far as wind (They both do a fantastic job) but I seem to prefer the 10" as I don't catch it as much in my peripheral vision. The shields look and fit great.
Trying to decide what height to get is another issue for me, I'm 6'5" tall
Contact Freedom Shields via e-mail or phone, give them your height and inseam and they will recommend a height for you... when you get the shield, install it but leave the film on, see how you like it, if it's too tall, or too short, you can send it back and get a different size as long as the film is still on it.
I got the 12" per their recommendation, and it's perfect. They're great to work with, and the shield is very high quality, thick, and no distortion. The radio is much clearer sounding, and I can ride all day long - literally - without feeling like I got beat up by the wind or noise.
