Default What to do with junk drawer items ...
Found this old fender emblem in one of my junk drawers in the garage, and finally put it to use. (on my shifter linkage)

Very nice! I'd love to dress mine up somehow, just never thought the hd covers were worth the money. Out of all the $ I've spent on bikes, I could never justify a linkage cover. Nice to see you come up with something original.

How did you attach it? There's not much surface area to glue to on a round shaft.

Permatex clear RTV silicone, it' holding on great! and it will absorb vibration.
