When I bought my RK last fall part of the bargaining process was them tossing in a Daymaker- but I paid for labor. Love the daymaker. Installation is going to be a bitch- was worth my time to just pay to have it done.
Ran a trucklite on my 13. Couldn't have been happier. Don't drop CREE LED's into the halogen reflector. It's illegal to begin with. The beam pattern is non compliant, the throw is shorter than a halogen and the scatter blinds oncoming traffic. Plus the close in scatter causes your pupils to contract even further limiting your night vision. The truck light reflector is designed to work with the LED light source. The resident experts will be along to tell you how awesome the drop in conversions are and how wrong I am shortly.
Depends on what you want. Do you want a LED projector headlight or are you interested in LED bulb swap which would be a LED reflector headlight.
Personally, I just didn't like the way the projectors look. To me they look like something that belongs on a sport bike. I swapped out my bulbs with LED from DK Customs. $100 for all three. They are not what I would call brighter, I feel a better description is clearer. More of a white than amber type of light and reflective signs and markers light up for about 4 blocks ahead of me in town. Just my 2 cents. I don't have a projector to compare. My buddy swapped his to a daymaker and loves it.
