I went 2 years ago. I couldn't really figure out the attraction. At the beach, but not a beach trip. No good riding to be had in NW FL. Parading around on the strip in stop and go traffic, and I got over the bar/nightclub scene a long time ago. I guess it's fun for some, but not really my thing.

 

the economy still is not back in my part of the world, so I'm sure this is'nt the only place. I wound up being retired before I was close to ready and to old now to make it back. just live with and go where and when I can. but I am gonna get to the smokies for a few days in June with all 3 of my sons. looking forward to that one. wish I could go to thunder beach also, hehe never satisfied.

Considering doing Thurs-Sun if the weather looks good here and there. Don't like the idea of riding through 500 miles of rain and thunderstorms. Love Panama City but have never done Thunder Beach. Usually do Bikeweek and Biketoberfest. My biggest issue is finding a place to camp there.
