Myrtle Beach ?
It's been at least 6 years, and Myrtle Beach is back. Son-in-law is a new rider & needs miles before long trip this summer. Odd, 100,000 expected this year but silence on hdforums ?
A great excuse to run 8 hours, enjoy sights/vendors/food & be home in 72 hours or less.....

Its more that 100,000 easy. I started going in 2013 and every year since its gotten bigger and bigger. Not back to the way it was before the fallout, but it has bounced back pretty good. Im heading out on the 18th and coming home on the 22nd. I love it, but I hang around the Murrells Inlet area mostly.

IMHO if you have friends you regularly hook up with there, then it's actually a good thing compared to the bigger events. If you're going to see something that is impressive (new bikes, women looking for you, new vendor products, great riding sights, etc.) you're wasting your time. It doesn't have the organization and common spirit needed to make it truly a worthwhile "event" to attend... it's just a bunch of people riding motorcycles to go drink beer at the bars. It's not bad crowded and so hanging out with friends, however, works well.
