One of the updates for the '07 touring models was to incorporate fully integrated oil lines in the powertrain. This is supposed to eliminate leaks and weeps. If you're seeing oil on the outside of the engine - regardless of how little, it's a problem and should be fixed under warranty. As someone else already posted, weeps turn into leaks.
There are no oil lines between the motor and trans on the '07's. There is an aluminum gasket with silicone beads around the ports. We havent seen anything like this yet but that gasket is the problem. The neutral light problem has been an ongoing issue since the '07's came out, tech services told us to tighten the neutral light switch in 5 ft lb incriments until the problem stops. I've found that about 28ft lbs has taken care of this. But work up to it from 20 ft lbs. You DO NOT want to break off the switch in the case. Take the switch out, clean it with brake cleaner then OIL the o-ring so it doesnt tear, then start at 20 and work up. Hope this helps.
Great information Hogdoc. I don't have any problems with the nuetral light on my '07 Street Glide but if one ever manifiests itsself, I now know a possible solution. Maybe it will save me a trip to the dealer too.

Although the '07 has intergrated oil lines, you still, however, have the primary shaft seal that can leak!
Harley eliminated the starter shaft seal, but not the primary shaft seal! This leak can occur any time at any mileage. I have an '05 Road Glide, and had to have it replaced twice so far.
This is a common problem with baggers and dressers. The dealers are quite familiar with this.
