What are you guys and gals wearing? I want a half helmet but ppl I know that have them say they act like a parachute. Does anyone have any experience with these?
As a previous poster noted, its a very head-specific thing, not even counting the type of helmet you want.....for me I couldn't deal with a full face so an Arai XC 3/4 seems to work for me....GL
I just purchased the Bell Rogue. I have to do some pad modifications to fit my head, but I think it will be all right once I trim out a couple of pieces.
I didn't have that experience at all behind my road glide fairing. That being said, as cool as they look and feel, I gave it up for a full face; Shoei Neotec. I value my face!
I feel the same way. It's what I tell everyone when they ask me why I wear a full face. Plus I'd rather not get pelted at 80 w/ a bug on the highway.
Depending on weather and conditions I switch up between a Bell Pit Boss which is nice light and super comfy helmet and a HJC IS33 II 3/4 helmet that I just got a month ago for cooler weather and rain.
