no air cleaner, now that i think of it the previous owner changed the slip-ons, and I did buy a pcv this year but It is not on the bike as we speak, so the only mod is slip-ons

If you have never done, clean the throttle body real good. It will make your RPM flutter occasionally.

That was going to be my suggestion as well. I had a dead spot in the throttle and sometimes while cruising my bike would start to sputter. I'm pretty sure I checked mine with a multimeter before I replaced it and you could see the dead spot when I would turn the throttle.

Sorry it took so long to get back, still waiting on fuel pressure adapter, Throttle body cleaned, no difference, is there a way to check back pressure? no intake leaks and no exhaust leaks, TPS seems okay, I heard today that a worn cam chain tensioner could be causing my problem, what are your thoughts, it is the dreaded 2007.
