This is the lift I have. No issues so far. Only a year or so old. 1500 capacity and moves nicely on concrete. $95.

I don't like the idea of paying $500 for a jack (jack, oil drip pan and shipping) but based on the reviews and since I'm tired of paying the damn dealership for oil changes, I'm going to bite teh bullet and just buy it and be done with it.
The ground is free to lay on. Mobil one in all 4 holes just to add to the fun factor.

I prefer 4 hydraulic jacks. Walk around bike and pump each jack once until proper height. Only takes 30 minutes to lift. It's going down where you have a problem, so to speak.

J&S usually have specials during holidays and to vets. A big holiday is coming up, so might be worth waiting.

Thanks man, I'm going to wait until Labor Day. I just had servicing done at the dealership. For what they charge, that's the price of the damn Jack. Plus:
1 - The forgot to reinstall the rear bolt on my seat which connects to the fender;

2 - They didn't tighten all of the bolts, as a result, oil was dripping all over and left a stain in my garage.

Going forward, I'm just gonna do the damn servicing myself and take it in only when absolutely necessary.

You wont just use it for servicing. Wait until you wash the bike on it. No more getting on the ground to clean the low spots and wheels

I've had the yellow HF lift for six years now. Still working good. You just have to realize it's limitations just like any other piece of equipment. If removing wheels I C clamp the frame to the lifts rails. Much more secure then. When reinstalling I place a floor jack under the wheel for stability.

i have one of the hf tables, but they don't sell that version anymore. it looks like the current one but there are a couple big differences. the the wheel lock on the front was L-shaped and much, much larger and it had an air input to raise it along with the pedal. it's been going strong for about 6 or 7 years now and i am quite amazed. on top of that i got it back when you could apply the 20% off coupon to sale priced items, so i think my total price was under $350.

my back has thanked me ever since.
