1) Your shield is too high, 4" is too short that's stock height on the street glides. The 7" wind splitter worked well for me at 5'10" tall, although I could see over the 10" screen just fine I liked the slightly shorter dark smoked screen.

2) Wax your windscreen inside and out when you wash your bike, on the road I use Plexus polish for my windscreen, and helmet visor when I ride in weather. If you have a Honda dealership nearby Honda polish is basically the same as plexus but it's less expensive since it's not certified for use on aircraft windscreens.

3) Consider using a helmet with a full visor like a full face, modular, or I am now running a Shoei J-cruise 3/4 with locking visor. Get something with a pin lock ready shield and buy a pin lock insert, it will prevent fogging in your field of vision without needing to break the weather seal by cracking the visor.

don't use rain-x.... not good for plastic. I wax mine with every wash. It still doesn't help. but then again, it's a batwing fairing and the windscreen is 7-8" tall. I can see over and duck behind if I have to.
My Sporty had a nice tall clear shield that was too tall for me. I used painters tape and taped the top 1/4 and drew lines until I had a profile I liked. Used a coping saw with fine tooth blade and cut the profile. Then coarse file followed up with a smooth file, then some sandpaper, and a wipe of alcohol.... could look over the top, and you would never known it was cut down unless I told you. and this all took less than 2 beers to do!

I bought some of that bike bright, and have an LRS 10" recurve, rain still seems to just stick to the shield, like there is no wind hitting it, The B. B. didnt seem to work, Maybe i applied wrong. I can see over shield fine, but glasses get rain drops on em, and hard to see, to me

For the Moto Mask to work, the windshield MUST be in very good condition, and MUST be clean. In a shade, preferably cool, I spray plexus on the windshield and let it set for a couple of minutes or so to loosen up any crud. Then a clean microfiber to polish to extra clean inside and out. Then - as the video shows - apply Moto Mask to the windshield with a clean micro fiber towel and let it dry to a haze - then polish it off with another dry micro fiber towel.
Yes, it sounds like a lot of detail, but to work properly, give it a try. I use it on my Oakley sunglasses, and to the shield on my Shoei Neotec helmet. Even on my mirrors.
There is a video showing it being reapplied with the windshield wet (like being out in the rain) and it will help, but not as good as the dry haze method described above. They sell a small bottle of it to keep on your bike, for that purpose.
Good luck, and ride safe.

for a batwing bike cut the windshield at the bottom, that way it doesn't have to be clean or polished.

Get a recurved windshield, and use Rainx on it going from the bottom to the top, up and
down when applying the Rainx. Harley also sells wet weather riding windshield stuff too.

For anyone using the LRS. Is there a big difference between the Ultra and the Ultra Elite. I take it that the first is an Acrylic and the other is a Polycarbonate. Is the Poly worth the extra $$?
Anyone using the Flat Top design? Does it really help for the passenger? I am not really sold on the looks but if it helps for my wife I would get one.

thanks for all the replies guys, i was wearing a full face but wasn't getting enough wind to keep fogging down. The long rides shields look very nice and i'm going to get one very soon. i just have to decide on which one to get!
