I had the bike at the dealer for warranty inspection and they said my rear brakes pads need replacing. Is there still life in these pads or would you change them?
how many miles you got on those? they are pretty thin to start with. they look like they have a lot of life left. the manual says to replace them if they are within .016 of the backing plate.
They will work better with new. My year says a 1/16 of a in.m maybe that's what you meant. .016 is like 1/64, next to nothing. This look like they might be more than a 1/16. If it's apart might as well change them.
Those pads have a lot of miles left on them! Hell no I wouldn't change them. Look at a set of new pads and you will see what I am talking about. If you do change them I will pay you for shipping my way!!!!!!
