Does Dynajet update their maps ever? I have a PC5 and it seems to be working ok, but do they ever improve upon or tweak their maps especially for older bikes? (2003) I would like to try and experiment with different maps. I contacted them about four months ago and told them my set up. They suggested one map and the dealer who installed it suggested another. Oddly the dealer choice according to Dynajets map table was closer in mods listed than what the boys at Dynojet suggested when I was on the phone. I have an 03 88, kerker slips, high flow breather. Dynajet recommended a different map than they have listed for that set up. Seemed odd to me and I asked them twice if that was for my set up.
I agree, DynoJet's maps for older 88's are outdated. But I get it, majority of PCV owners need maps for newer models. Don't be afraid to experiment with a number of different maps on the DynoJet PCV map list. As long as you have a laptop changing maps is so simple makes it kind of fun to experiment. With your aftermarket slip on mufflers and stage one air filter you are not going to see a massive difference in HP or torque with any map. But you will see and feel some when you get it dialed in. Your other options are to custom build a map using one of the DynoJet PCV maps as a starting point. Or you could bring it in and have it dynotuned by a experienced dyno tuner.
I'm using the M15-040-053 map that I've increased the fuel numbers a bit in the mid to high RPM range at 40,60 and 80% throttle that are used in other PCV maps with aftermarket cams similar to the profile to what I have installed in my 1999 Road King 88. I've uploaded quite a few maps and never had a situation where the bike would not start or run.

Another option: find a set of 07 headers with the large O2 bung near the head. It will fit no problem. Add the Auto Tune and you can have a broader range of adjustments. I ended up going that route when I upgraded my 02 to a Fuel Moto 98. Being able to set the AFR is real nice.
