Default What a difference!

I have had my 2001 Road glide for about 1.5 years. Its the only Harley I have ever ridden, well it broke down. My best friend and I are Prospecting for a club and have an event to attend this weekend and it so happens he has two bikes, an 05 Electra Gilde Standard and an 07 Ultra Classic CVO. So he called me up this morning at 530 and said hey come park your truck at my house and take this bike so you can get used to riding it.

WOW! what a difference. all the gauges, radio, and the whole fairing are in your face. Plus the gearing on the compensator is different so even though it has the same motor and tranny as my bike it rides shifts different. So far only 1 short 15 minute ride to work. I am undecided whether I like it or Not.

Which one are you riding? I'm guessing the 05 since you said the motor is the same. They are definitely different experiences. If I could I'd have two bikes. One for riding with the wife and one for riding alone. Although it is real easy to get used to the stereo and cruise...
