the kuyrakyn bags that were on my bike when i bought it have been handy, but they're falling apart. I'm not going to talk down on them because i don't know how old they are or how they've been treated. I do need to a new set, however and figured I'd ask you guys. I checked out the harley bags yesterday at $114. i've also heard of t bags at $67 or the viking bags for $40. i personally like the look of the viking bags the best and i prefer the twist **** over magnets but i've never had experience with viking products. anyone tried these bags or have any advice?

Do a search on this forum about customer service concerning Viking bags before you purchase.

 

well, rolled the dice on viking co and lost. ordered the bags, even got a fathers day discount code. next day got a shipping notification but the label was almost instantly voided. tried to contact them via their "chat" function. website said i would be emailed back. next day, tried the "chat" again. said it wasn't functioning. sent them an email and got a "I'm assigned to your case" email. finally got an email back saying that the bags were out of stock with no eta on when they would be back in. at this time i've requested a refund and i'm waiting to hear back from them.

kind of trashy IMO to make a customer have to email you repeatedly to find out what they paid for isn't in stock. guess i learned my lesson with this one.
