Default Enforcer wheel direction

Is there a direction on a front enforcer wheel, being that the valve stem is in the center

Well, not sure if they are directional BUT I can tell you if you look close enough you will find 3 raised stamps on the rim HD-DOT and a part # I think.
Put these engravings on the primary side and that is the way factory faced them.

When I ordered a set of the chrome enforcers the directions that came with the wheel said the HD DOT stamp goes to the primary side

I guess The Moco should have picked a better word than "Primary" side when referring to wheels. It often leads to confusion. Just to point out for the uniformed...the "Primary" side of a wheel has nothing to do (other than possible coincidence) to the "Primary" chain side of your bike. The MoCo uses the word "Primary" according to it's definition "Main" or "First".

So in the case of your front wheel the "Primary" side of the wheel is placed to the Left (which just happens to also be "Primary" chain side)...What about the rear on your Touring bike? The "Primary" side is placed on the Right-side...what side is the "Primary" chain side on again

The Moco trys to make it easy in their instructions of those Enforcers by stating ...
"The left side of the wheel has DOT markings to identify the primary bearing side."

But there are other designators on those '09-later Touring such as the "Primary" side of the wheel will the more shallow bearing bore and the rotor mounting surface will have a machined groove (won't see it unless the rotors aren't mounted)

BTW, attached if the Install Instructions for the Front Enforcer

And if you have ABS...well you know which side that goes.

pulled my old wheel off to put powder coated enforcer on and realized they put the bearings in the wrong sides, so bought new bearings and had them installed cause harley dealer said wheel has no direction, valve stem is in center. but if the stamping is supposed to be on left then he actually put tire on wrong and now i have everything backwards. i have 150 miles on with it this way and no problems so far. what could be a reason for having a wheel with a center valve stem that has to go a certain direction?

When the bearings are installed correctly then the difference between the two sides is "only" approx .060"

Take a look at the left side (clutch lever side ) rotor to caliper alignment...you'll probably find it's not centered

"abs bearing in the left side with wheel on backwards..."

Then the bearings were installed INCORRECTLY. (per instructions)

powdercoater put tire on backwards, so i bought new bearings and had them switched instead of turning tire around, cause i thought he messed up bearing orientation. this was before i knew that the stamping was supposed to be on left side, so not sure if i need to change this
