Have a '16 RK with V&H 4.5" HO slip ons and I just ordered the V&H air cleaner with the V&H fuel pack. My question is, will I see any more gains by getting rid of the stock head pipe with the cat in it? By gains, I mean power or sound. Is it worth the $500 for the power duals?
I am running the dresser duals and I noticed a difference right away as far as power. The sound is way better since I am running a true dual system with them. The only thing I had to do was put the baffles back in my V&H 3.5" dual slash tips.
Without them there was little to no back pressure and even the FP3 could not adjust to that.

Thanks, I was thinking about taking the baffles out of mine as well. I will re-think that now. I know I read somewhere that the FP3 asks about baffles so I figured it could adjust.
You will gain some power if its tuned right, you will for sure make it louder by deleting that cat. You can run the two brothers racing headers. They use the stock heat shields and have a hidden cross over tube so you can get good numbers.
Not worth $500 for what you will gain. These aren't race bikes.
Wish I had all the money I pissed away on crap to gain a little power.
Put your money in bling so you can make it your own and don't worry about if you can go a tenth of a second faster.
Thanks guys. Just dropped the cash on the tuner and AC so I may wait a bit on the power duals. Heard some good things about de-cating the stock pipe too but dont have the ability to do it myself as far as the welding goes.

My wife's right foot thinks it was worth every penny. Glad I spent the money on the S&S header. Dyno numbers may not show a big gain but I believe the engine will rev quicker.
