Cruise control will not turn on!!!!

I've had the front brake switch and the roll off switch keep the cruise from engaging. But the amber indicator has always been on.
The OP doesn't have the amber light yet, so he's apparently not getting power to the cc module.

I have the same issue with my 2007 Ultra. Had my handlebars bushings replaced to the poly bushings and aftermarket clamps. Then I notice the cruise control was not working after I got it back. Took it back to HD dealer Mech. had it for 3 days. They finally determined it was the Idle cable, which had to ordered from Milwaukee.

Forward for resume or excel - back for set..Light on gauge won't come on until set.

Happened something similar. It appeared that the front brake switch was defective and it was turning the brake light on. If this is happening the Cruise control disengage. So check the brake switches. Good luck!
