Look how silly your response is, I'll just twist a bit:

"My one question ... How do you know that high beams make other drivers see you better? Or are you really just giving us how YOU feel?"

So please lets not start throwing stupid comments, questions, yeah?

There is no evidence of any kind to support ya'll claim of being more visible to the idiots when using high beams. How ever I know the dang things **** me off to no end when others use them for no good reason. And I know I'm not the only one here, as evident by other on this thread.
Lets have an intelligent discussion with out threats or name calling.

Since 2009 thanks to someone else's idea how to wire passing lamps to stay on with either beam and always used high beam on our 07 and 98 UCs. Now the things got little easier since it's just a computer program to keep passing lamps on with high or low beam setting occasionally on coming traffic flashes their lights and all I say to myself thanks for noticing us.

no, none at all. other than the ama, and the dmv of just about every state, and other studies that recommend using high beams during the day for increased visibility. but other than that.......

Take the flashlight out of your saddlebags, look into it in the daylight, then at night. Do you really think high beams make a difference?

I put yellow bulbs in my passing lamps, I know for fact they are a great eye catcher, at least in the rearview. Have actually had citizens pull over, goofballs think its the police.

Here's the thing, I never said I think it makes others see me better, All I care about is it makes ME feel like others can see me better.

Good thought experiment. . . or try it for real. When your eyes are adjusted to the darkness and someone shines a flashlight into your eyes it's blinding.
When your eyes are adjusted to the daylight it's no big deal. All flashlights seem wimpy in the daylight. Same with headlights. Put your high-beams on during the day. You need more light during the day because you are competing with the sun. Drivers won't even think you have high beams on.

When it's daylight turn on your high-beams. Then turn on your low beams. Can you even notice where the light is shining on the ground? No. It makes no difference. When an oncoming driver looks at you during the day he sees your lights but if they are low or high beams it won't hurt his eyes.

How I fill. But I can also see a motorcycle coming at me with the low beam. Also, in VA, there is a State law that we must use our lights with the wipers during the day in our cages. Cagers our annoying when they do not know their brights are on to me.
Guess it's just me but also my first post was just my opinion and was addressed to the FP.
