Sorry - I thought the sharknose had two 7" lights. In that case they probably won't fit! I think they make a 5:3/4" variant but not 4".

I got the drop in H4 led replacment ligts with fans. They litterally turn night into day! One of the best mods I have done, and all for less than 100.00. I see a set on Ebay right now. Mine even light up the road sign during the day! I keep them aimed high so people will see me, seems to work.

not impressed with my daymaker on my '13 FLH... had to shim it down to get the light out of the sky, and high beam is long and narrow... not the greatest. Its brighter than stock, thats about it. I won't be buying any HD headlights anymore unless they make one that works. There's too many aftermarket options that work better at half the price.

I traded my daymaker for the JW Speaker Model 8790 (detail in posts above this one). Huge difference in performance compared to the stock daymaker - it lights up the corners as you lean. Check it out! I am very happy with its performance. Pricey - but you get what you pay for....

It's funny that you say that. I've been thinking about those headlights all day since I read the posts. Besides the fact I'm likely going to run the daymaker for the rest of this season I can't get over the looks of those JWs. They look quite odd to me. Not that looks have anything to do with the performance of it. At this point I'm chalking it up to experience. I'll run the daymaker for the rest of this season and maybe make a change over the winter months.

Yeah price has a lot to do with it. I absolutely hate mystock bulb. Pretty much useless except for DOT legality issues. Just wonderingif I should save for an AR-15 or just buy the lights. With the way the worldlooks, might need the gun. I donate Plasma and I don’t use the money from thatfor bills and such. That’s all my fun money. Bought a PS4 and my living roomfurniture just from donating. Anyhow I have a bit to think about. Thank you allfor the sound advice!

OP, might not just be plug and play. On my 2011 Streetglide, I had to buy the metal tub for the Speaker LED light to fit. Make sure the light also includes the metal tub, ot to the dealer you will go...

Get the AR-15 and then you can get all the LED lights you want with that? Ok, that's a joke. :-)

Other than the price, I can't say enough good things about the VisionX headlight. With the adapter that lets you run the hi and low beams together, it's an absolute flame thrower at night and it doesn't have the sharp cutoff line that the Speaker 8700 series has which makes it much better through the turns. There are some YouTube videos by Headlight Revolution that highlights a bunch of the 7" LED headlights currently on the market that you may want to check out.

Adapter huh? I assume its some type of jumper harness? That would be nice to be able to do that with my daymaker. And that should be OK with a '13 and earlier bike, but the rushmores have a controller I think that you would need to program for the extra light.
