HD Parts Catalog Errors

Default HD Parts Catalog Errors
Over the years I've seen various errors in the Harley-Davidson Parts Catalog (Touring Models), but I've never really documented them or kept a list. Today, I found what I believe is another error and thought I'd start a thread about errors in the parts catalog.

This error exists in both my 2004 and 2011 parts catalog, so it has been out there for awhile.

Reference Number 4
Part Number: 5817 (Spacer)

Part is shown on the inside of the shaft and is actually installed on the outside of the shaft (heel-toe shifter side).

I noticed that same error last week in my 2010 Touring catalog.

Could blame it on those Chinese Mechanical Drawings.

Dealer used to give them out for free now wants bucks. I look up parts online now.

I've been doing this a long time and can't remember dealers giving out a free OEM parts catalog.

Now defunct Bridgeport HD and Yankee HD both in CT. Used to get a new on every year.

I have never seen a dealer charge for one. They send them to the house free.

Is it possible some are confusing the Parts & Accessories catalog with the OEM parts catalog?
Two different books.

Most dealers will give out the Parts & Accessories catalog out free to current customers.

Oh ... I get the accessory catalogs free. The thread is about the parts catalog, not the accessory catalog.
