Sorry to hear about your bad luck.....but then again, maybe it's GOOD luck since you survived.
Depends how you look at the glass I guess huh?
You mentioned you were wearing a helmet...... were there any marks on it as to indicate contact with the road? Just curious is all.
I've learned to ALWAYS assume the other guy doesn't see, just safer that way.
Also, my Pop once told me when I was very first learning to ride my Honda 100cc enduro, "Never let yourself get *overconfident*.... that is when you will fall."
<edit> Not saying that you fell because you were overconfident....just throwing that advice out there is all.
glade to read you are still here...i hope rotator cuffs are not torn and just inflamed..rotator cuff injuries suck ! if they are torn it will only show on MRI and you would know it right away because it would be difficult and painfull to do simple things like open kitchen cabinets or microwave door ...even sleeping....leg/ribs injury also...be thankfull it was not worse...i honestly would consider how these injuries are going to affect your future...consider legal advise.
Yea there were marks on the helmet Lockdwn and also a hole in my boot, I think the injuries would have been a lot worse if I hadn't been wearing protective clothing. And to IM yes the rotator cuffs were torn and have already got a lawyer, the guys insurance was expired and he was ticketed so I don't know what will happen yet, but I will follow up. Thanks to all for your concern.
full helmet or half? happy your doing well. does'nt take much to get multiple injuries. sometimes i wonder to myself if it's worth it. the amount of fun is SO GREAT that i ride anyway.
Good grief! Sounds like a bad wreck to me. Take care and heal those wounds. Please let us know how you recover. I appreciate you sharing this. It incourages me to wear my helmet.
