The definition of a bargain is something you don't need and don't want at a price you can't pass up.
At auction Tuesday was a 2012 Road King Police with 40k. Listed as a non-runner with unknown miles (I had witnessed it being ridden in a few days before). I was the only bidder and picked it up for Evo money. I originally bought it to flip, but I think I may make room in the garage and keep it. Liking the idea of the 103, 6 speed, and ABS brakes. And somebody loved it enough at one time to spend the coin on a full complement of HD Daymakers and a Mustang seat. Runs fine. Clutch drags a bit. Exhaust is obnoxious (V&H Streetsweepers).
Will have a new set of tires on by the weekend and do a little road testing. Keeping at least 1 Evo though......
Something like that.... I have my eyes open for a stock header set.
FWIW, my dad has Rineharts on his Road King (2008 or 2009, I can't remember) and it looks and sounds great. Whatever way you go, get the muffler portion to be as large of a diameter as possible to produce a deeper less raspy tone.
Good looking TC. I only wonder who the hell designed the wheels on the newer HD's? I just can't fall in love with them. If you got EVO pricing on it, ya did good.

First thing that crossed my mind.... Next thing ya know, he'll be a SeaFoam sales rep....
I rode a Vaquero with a darkside tire across town once. Handled so badly, I'm puzzled how anyone could think it's a good idea.
I'd consider going to the dark side if I ever got a sidecar (at a decent price) to semi-permanently install on my bike. Also would rake the front a bit to make it easier on my old man arms....
