I have tried a number of things and have found a great solution. I have some industrial velcro which I put on the "dash" on the right side below the windshield and the right speaker. I put the fuzzy velcro on the entire back of the ez-pass and just put it on when I need it. It solves a lot of problems. I have had it mounted under the fairing but once going over the VZ bridge back to NJ, it didn't read it and the gate wouldn't come up. The cop, who happened to ride a Road King, was very understanding, realizing that it would take a few minutes for me to pull the fairing off to get to the ez-pass. What we wound up doing was backing out of the toll lane and going into another (he said that even cars were having problems with the receiver in that lane) which then worked. At that point i figured it was better to find another solution. when I am not using it, I have another piece of industrial strength velcro in the tour pack and I just slap it there. I once went thru a toll with the ez-pass in the tour pack and it work but why take a chance.
