the original grips on my 05 roadking started desintegrating and blacking my hands so i bought a new set from the harley shop for around $70.00 and were recomended by the counter guy. they were like holding on to a large rat tail file leaving my hands sore and with the print of the grip pattern on my palms. i got a set of grips for a fraction of that cost off ebay. they are very comfortable and a pleasure to ride with. today the throttle grip started coming loose, probably a combination of heat and use. i suppose the adhesive gave out. i don't remember what the adhesive was and hope someone can suggest something that will hold. thanks
+1 on the golf grip tape. Prep the bar well. Apply the tape. Use alcohol to "wet" the bar, slide on and don't touch it for a day. You will cuss trying to get them off.

Yep...if it holds the grips on John Daley's clubs, it should hold the grips on your bars !!!
hair spray is probably the best because you can remove them when they eventually deteriorate from your skin oil.
ps gloves will keep your hands from getting waffle-ironed and even save your skin in a fall.
Yes, I wear gloves. Now how do I get rid of the tan line on my forearm? As it was 94 and humid, even the mesh stuff is hot. OK. Now start the road rash safety lectures....
Lol yeah orange hands should look great...ever see what that stuff makes the callus on your hands look like ? Years ago my ex had me put that crap on her once and yeah that's how I know.
