I love the concept and convenience of the windshield pouches but I don't like the way it blocks your vision if you have to look downto avoida pothole etc. I'd rather see more of the road. I know you should not be looking down but I just know it's there. I sold mine but I still wish I didn't have to keep opening my saddlebags for every little thing.
Find them to be extemely handy, but I ride with a super low black windshield too often to have one myself. However, I bought my brother-n-law one for his birthday so he could have a place for his things, as he calls them.
Anyway, went with the WS20 model from Jafrum. Real leather construction, bigger pockets than the HD unit that will actually hold CDs, and was only $18.95 plus shipping. Unit is a bit heavier than the HD piece, so a small piece of velcro at the top outer edges kept it all in place much better than just the windshield screws alone did. http://www.jafrum.com/Motorcycle-Lug...ld-Leather-Bag
We have the fairing mounted mirrors in addition to normal stalk mounted ones on the Cop Glide. Fairing mounted are used to see close in on each quarter.
Stalk mounted gives a clear view of vehicles in lanes behind.
I bought the $100 HD 3 pouch works great for IPod and cell phone. HD doesn't list a fit for the Street Glide in the book but it work just fine. The only problem that I had was a noise from it rubbing the windshield but I cut a couple small pieces of foam rubber put them between the pouch and the windshield and the noise was gone.

Have the HD 3 pouch and think its great, also bought a tinted windshield from jpcycle so its not as easy to see from the front. Sunglass case in middle, cell phone left & camera on right works great
I have the 3 pouch from HD and it works out well. Graage door opener, utility knife, small flashlight, sunglasses, gloves, etc. Does not scratch the windhield, which is a smoke gray 10".
Not trying to steal a thread either, but on the same subject.....how are thesedifferent styles of windshield bags mounted? I'm having trouble bringing myself to drill holes in the plastic right out in the open.
On my single pouch from Fox Creek, it has a "Harley Mount" which is a stainless channel that slips over the windshield strip and uses the existing single bolt in the windshield frame.
