Bought some for engine but not clear on how to apply.
What's the best way to apply?
On a cold or warm engine? Just spray and leave on or wipe off or wash? Wait a certain amount of time before running bike?
My Chrome has all been powder coated gloss black. Will pig spit affect the gloss black?
Any advice would be appreciated. I do not want to make a mess and have a hard time cleaning up that mess by doing it wrong. Directions on Can are not clear. In fact can says it is a clear coating. I thought it was a cleaner?
I wash my bike and let dry for a bit. I use it on everything on the engine that isn't chrome. It will chase away water, especially hard to reach/clean areas like between the fins, etc.
Hell, it even makes my stock, non chrome voltage regulator look new.
You will probably have to wipe off the chrome pieces but it won't hurt.
Gives all the flat black on the engine that wet, clean look.
When I saw the title to the thread, my first thought was someone is powering a rotisserie with their bike and cooking a whole hog. (My mouth was watering!!). Must be the redneck in me.
I have never heard of Pig Spit cleaner. Where do you get it and is it better than any other cleaners out there?

All the Harley dealers around here carry it, and some Walmarts use to but theirs was called pig snot. Works great to get the black engine looking new. I also use it on my chrome.

Pastor: It's actually not a cleaner. It's to be used after you clean your motor, and as others have said, it makes your motor shiny, and new looking all over again...kinda like what a good confession does to the heart!
Been using it too, for years, and love the stuff. Harley is now selling their own version, and it's identical. I can't tell any difference, anyway. Prefer to support the brand though, as Harley has taken in more than enough of my money!
