I reused mine on my rotor change thousands of miles ago. I also remove rotors when I do my own tire changes just to avoid accidently warping or damaging a rotor when breaking the bead or removing the tire with tire irons and reuse the bolts.

The bolts that hold the rear sprocket are a one time use item as they can stretch when torqued to the correct specifications and the possibility of shearing them off is real threat. The bolts on the brake rotors can be re-used if you're feeling cheap. Just remember safety first though!

Both front & rear disc bolts on my '15 Limited Low are spec'd as one time use only. They come with a patch of something on them... threadlocker probably.

Item #1 Qyt. 10 @ .99 cents (Ronnies .49 cents.) Front
Item #31 Qty. 5 @ $1.99 (Ronnies $ 1.49) Rear

Why wouldn't you buy new hardware? I suggest you read your HD Service Manual.

and the dealer should read the line above where it says do not re use rotor bolts.
I'll have to hear of a failure. I have a wheel off, I can take it to work and check its hardness. If it is harder than the grade 8 bolt, then we can agree the bolt weakens before the alum. threads stretch?

It doesn't cost much to do the job right and no worries.

You should replace them , but many go cheap and do not. Mostly those planning on selling or trading the bike.
Maybe that why we see so many issue with used Harleys.
