Default Road Zeppelin seat compressor running

I got a Road Zeppelin seat here on the forum back in March of this year, like new, found the plug straight away and it has been working well. Of course all that see it want to adjust it and yesterday I was showing someone and operated it from standing next to the bike, nothing or no one sitting on it and now I cannot get the commpressor to stop. Is there a reset or something the manual did not tell me?

Mine did the same thing. It had to be sent back to thefactory by a Harley dealer for the repair.

Good luck.

If I remember correctly, the book indicated that the compressor will run intermittantly to keep everything at teh air levels selected. Each time the bike is shut off, the compressor stops and some of the air will bleed out. The compressor running is better than it NOT running, IMO

There is a pressure switch inside the seat and a storage bladder that holds air. The compressor will run till the storage bladder is full. Then it will turn off. I thought mine ran all the time too till I left the acc switch on and listened. It took about a minute to fill the storage bladder and it shut off.

Thanks for the information. I left it on and let it run, about a minute. It did stop on its own, but I sure don't remember it doing that in the last 2 months. Possibly couldn't hear it while runnin down the road. I appreciate your input and will keep an eye on it.
