ABS wheel bearings
Perhaps my search skills need improving...............
08 Road King with ABS:
Are the F and R ABS wheel bearings a "special" HD part or can a bearing shop supply this.
Is the non-ABS side still the 6205-2RS industry standard PN?

yes and yes.
The ABS sensor bearing is a HD item, the non ABS is a pretty standard 6205, I used ALLBALLS but other brands are aviliable

A bit of Googleing tells me that the ABS side is also available from the likes of Drag and readily available in the States on FleaBay

Yeah, I've seen that, but as an aside, I bought a ABS set from Custom Chrome in the UK, which came as described in fleabay above, 1 ABS bearing, 1 ALLBALLS bearing. The ABS had the Harley part number on it!
So I don't know if they are simply bundling bearings sourced via HD.
Anywho, I think it the non abs bearing from HD (updated a few times) that mostly gives trouble.
