Default The Code is back

So yesterday I unplugged the ET sensor and cleaned the contacts but didn’t remove the sensor from the engine cylinder. Clear the code and rode about 50 miles with no code. When I got on it the morning @0400 to ride to work the engine light came back on and the P0118 code is back. The only difference I can think of right off the top of my head is the outside air temp was about 20 degrees cooler this morning.I picked up a new ET sensor Saturday so I guess after some of the suggested checks I will be changing it out this afternoon. Any thoughts or suggestions will beappreciated.

Default Problem solved

Just thought I would update everyone. After not finding anything in the wiring I changed out the ET sensor yesterday. Very happy to say rode to work this morning (similar conditions as the last time I got the code) and back home with no codes.
