Who has installed header pipes on a 2009 Ultra Classic? I will also be installing a Fuel Moto EFI tuner. I was looking for feedback on upgrades to EFI systems.

Before you install true dual headers I suggest you call Jamie @ Fuel Moto. Tell him what your goal is and trust what he tells yo with regard to header, tuner and intake. view www.fuelmotousa.com
I have 2 power visions from fuel moto. One bike st stage one full exhaust air cleaner the other has a full header/muffler air cleaner and cams. Both run flawlessly. The auto tune works well. The maps provided by jamie are reslly good.
Thanks for the replies. I will also be getting a Big Sucker stage 1 a/c as well down the road, so I was going to call Fuel Moto to have it set up anyway. You have to stay on top of progress when it comes to messing with engines nowadays. Thanks again for the feedback.
I took off my true duals. Low end torque was terrible and at really slow parade like speeds I had to stay on the clutch to keep the bike from bucking. Sounded great though! And before somebody says it was the tune, it was not. I experienced the issue with a good dyno as well as an autotuner. I called Fuelmoto and they explained to me that what I was experiencing was symptomatic of a true dual set up. Those guys were very helpful
It all boils down to personal taste and expectations I guess. These forums are still cool to get this type of feedback. I'm going to keep my upgrades to the minimum due to cost restraints. "HD-Hundred dollar" adds up quick. Thanks again to all who replied. Ya'll "keep it in the wind".
The vast majority of riders with true duals have no problem with them, and are out riding, instead of chiming in on this forum, telling you to beware.
Buy what you like. The low end loss is pretty minimal, and you probably won't notice it from the seat.
