On my former 14 SG I installed the LA Choppers 10 inch bars and did not require me to purchase any extra length cabling or wires.
Will I need any longer cables or wires for my 2012 SG?
Thanks in advance.
I put the 10" LA Choppers Twin Peaks on my 2013 EGC without changing the brake line or clutch cable. I did reroute the clutch cable to come up between the radio support and the inner fairing and I also got the SE tbw to get rid of the green connector.

No problem as well... however all things being equal if money wasn't an issue... I probably would have gotten a longer clutch cable but it's not "necessary". The brake is fine.
On a related issue.... check out the gap between the controls and where the bar steps up. I've switched to a HD Airflow TBW non-headed grip #56100108.
FYI - I'm been in touch with LA Choppers and they've been great. After exchanging numerous photos and measurements. It looks like the issue may be a variation in the size /width or depth of different HD OEM Grips. Obviously not an issue with thinner bars... but I may investigate aftermarket grips that might be longer.
Has anybody else had a similar issue? Just something to be aware of...

I installed wild one 10" bars on my SG and did a +4 clutch cable. I don't think I would be happy with a stock cable. Easy to change and peace of mind knowing its right.

Ditto. I too did the same thing with my clutch cable and didn't have any issues when I installed my LA Choppers 10" Twin Peaks.
I didn't have any fitment issues with my HD grips and controls not mating up to where the bars went up to 1-1/4" diameter.
I would buy the longer cables. If you need them while everything is apart you have them. If not return them. Nothing like having to leave your project in pieces (not that this has happened to me......)
