Who makes the best drop in replacement LED headlight and passing light bulbs ?
Who makes the best clicker torque wrenches for the money ?
Thanks,
Ron

some led bulbs will not fit the RK headlight bucket ( the FM for example).

I, and others, have given these negative reviews- they can provide gobs of light but it is unfocused, you get hot and cold spots- glare and shadows.
The leds arrays do not work with the optics of the housing.

2.) Sears
don;t buy a used one- click types need to have the tension off the spring when not in use- and the previous owner may not have done this- also a hard drop can throw them off.
I don;t know what harbor freight carries, but it is probably imprecise.

most HD torque values will be between 15 and 45 ft lbs. ( the service manual lists torques) some values are expressed as inch pounds- 12 in pounds to the foot pounds

I'm using the halogen bulb in the headlamp and truck lite passing lamps. The TL's are drop in with the same plug. I love them, much better light at night.

There's a lot of knock offs, the best seem to be JW Speaker and TruckLite. Both are plug n play for your year model. Both have gotten good and bad reviews on the headlamp for having hot spots and light distribution, blind spots going into curves, etc. Build quality
is very good on both.

I got a kobalt clicker up to 250 ft lbs for about $80.00 at Loews, even has a storage case. Used it for primary work twice, good value.

I concur with mk.

I bought a 1/2 inch drive ft/lb clicker and a 3/8 inch drive in/lb clicker at my local Sears (mini store). With my Craftsman club discount and maybe fathers day sale (can't remember) I paid $19 a piece for them. Normal price was $79.99 a piece. Watch for sales and get a Craftsman club card.
