Just bought a set to try out over stock air shocks. Think its a typo but got for the listed price. Everwhere else they are $75-100 more. 12" Heavy Duty
IMHO I think they are a little light weight for a touring bike, that being said I don't know what bike you ride or your physical size. They may work but for how long?

These are the heavy duty spring rate touring shocks, well reviewed as lower end cost but step up from stock air shocks for those on a budget. I weigh in at 230 and do some 2 up riding. I wanted something that doesnt bottom out, lowers the rear a tad for looks, and could afford so will see how this works out. Worst case, I sell online for same cost and recall others having used with sucess. Passing along a deal when I see

I'm always two up on my 06 RK. I'm a big guy and it puts us near max weight. Stock air shocks bottomed out quite a bit with full air. Put a set of these 412s on and it's like riding a different bike. Best money I ever spent on this bike. Just saw that these were 12". I did not go with this size but with stock.
I've got those on my 02 Superglide when we were two upping on it for road trips, bagged out, set the preload to three for two up. Not doubting nothing here, seems most anything is better the air at times. Be safe out there.
Come back and give us a review once you get them installed and broken in.
Shocks came in a day early and have them installed with a short run made over a bad road....really notice a far improved ride. This road is full of waves, dips and upwards buckles and it handled it all. Now I can see where the stock fork springs will need addressing. Went from stock 13" to 12" and not an obvious change when look at the side of the bike but now my LRS is a bit taller...will have to trim it down or buy new. The real tests will be some longer rides with wife onboard as shes not a big girl and would either launch off seat or we would bottom out with 40lbs air pressure on old shocks. Will have to play with settings but for now im set on 1st detent.
