Dealer incentives
Was by the local dealer today.
Posted on sign out front
110% of retail kbb values on all trades
0% APR to qualified buyers for up to 72 months.
Truck was unloading approx 50 2016 models, mostly touring. Showroom was full of new bikes.
I think 2017s are out sometime between September 10th & 15th.
Lots of inventory to be moved between now and then.

110% is no big deal. And for 0% interest loans you have to have a top tier credit score which means you have borrowed way too much money.
So if your trade is worth $15,000.00 you will get $16.500.00.
Then the dealer will say your credit score does not cut the mustard and he will make that $1,500 back in a jiffy. You know, extended service/warranty plans etc where you pay interest on as well as the principle of the bike.
But I would like to sit outside the sales managers office when the new 2017's hit the showroom and listen to all the guys trading bikes with negative equity and hear what they are willing to pay to be the first.
If you have to finance, be careful with the upcoming election. I believe the worst is going to happen and the economy is not going to get better. Having a payment that you can not pay more than the minimum is not smart.

What a load of crap. Having top tier credit does not mean you have borrowed way too much money. Anyone who believes that has borrowed way too much money and not paid it back in a manner that would have earned them top tier credit ratings. Second, you can know your credit score, and you should before you ever talk to anyone about financing for anything. If you have great credit and can afford it, then 0% interest is a great way to hang on to your cash and still buy the bike

wow....10 percent over retail.....and they would have ade how much off you if you traded?
(traded price is less than retail...NO?). I do not care who you are...if you trade a bike....you (or the next person) will lose. Kind of like Vegas. I have never gotten a penny from Vegas...ever. OH! I won a hundred bucks on a machine...but never made a dollar.

This dealer is giving upgrades on '16 models. $1.10 for a 110 engine upgrade and $1.17 for a 117 upgrade.

Im seeing more and more Indians on the road lately, HD having competition with them and Victory, and putting out new engines w/ the same flawed designs.....they'll need to make some serious choices in order to survive.
