Default Road King Handlebar Question

2016 Road King, the oem bars are too high and close for my liking...

Looking for a lower bar with less pullback, not beach bars.

I`m thinking that oem bars (`08-`13) may fit the bill, pictures seem to make it look like they are lower and have less pullback.

Anyone familiar with these bars?

Thanks

Im headed the other way. I have an 11 Road King. They are great but I have long arms and need a bit of height. Not a fan of apes.

The bars I have came off a 13 RK and when I set them on my 11 they matched the outline pretty close. If can snap a pic I will. I'd like to go a bit higher..so if the 15 are higher and you want to swap let me know!

I put a set of Wild 1 504s on my 2014 RK. I like the look but being long in the arms they don't fit me well. I plan on installing a set of new Road Glide bars I bought from a forum member as soon as I get new risers. I'm selling the 504s in the classifieds. If looking for something in between might check the Wild 1 Road King 2 bars.

Below is a link to a website that has instructions to measure handlebar dimensions (scroll down the page), using the method shown, the OEM 2016 Road King Bars are:

9" Rise

12" Pullback

31" Wide

I am all too familiar with the stock bars, I found mine unusable after I installed a seat that moved me back 2 inches. But they are probably just what you're looking for if you want less height and pullback. Heck, I'd let you have mine for cost of shipping but I'm in Canada so.....

Here is how the stock bars looked on my '13 RKC:

I have a set of stock 05 RK bars if you want them. I believe they are 7.5" rise, 31" width, and 11.5" pullback

The stock bars are just fine for me (I'm 6 feet tall) but then again the rest of the bike is stock as well. I can see how changing the seat can completely throw things off, however.

I literally removed my 13 RK bars and threw them in the trash. I could not believe how bad the fit was for me at 6'.

I replaced the stock bars on my 2013 RK with the heritage style bars. They were a better fit for me. You can have my stock bars if you want. Just pay he shipping.
