OK So Let Me Get This Straight
Please correct me..
Basically when you are tuning you are just trying to align the VE tables with your AFR table. The AFR is values of your choosing and the VE tables are created from data via test runs or dyno...the VE tables being created to correspond appropriately with your desired AFR table.
So basically you load a base map and then if you want to run more rich or lean you manually enter figures in the AFR table and reflash. Take test runs for data then use that data to create VE tables. When you have created the VE tables you take them and attach to that AFR table you used for the test runs and you have yourself a new map.
So really all you are doing is setting the AFR table at desired rich/lean? I know there is more to it like ignition and what not but in a nut shell is this the logic?
