I am also comparing the Hogworkz Halomaker to the HD Daymaker - at nearly half the cost I am wondering if it is a quality light or not. One thing I like about the hogworkz light over the HD Daymaker is the option for the halo running light. Just wondering if anyone can provide any information, good or bad, on this topic. Any advise is appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I am running the Hogworkz Black Day Maker on my 12 street glide. I wanted a LED Headlight and the HD daymaker in my opinion is way overpriced. I took a chance and bought the HogWorkz and I will say it is well made. You can clearly see this was not at all produced with low grade Chinese parts. It fits perfectly without having to make any modifications at all, other than the mounting ring you have to by for the Street Glide. The light it puts out is great. It really lights up the night. I did not get the Halo light because I am already running the Kuryakyn Black Halo trim ring. All in all, I highly recommend this product and HogWorkz is a solid company as well. Shipping was super fast too.

Lost,

Do you have any photos of what your low and high beam look like with this light? I have a 2012 Streetglide too. Thanks!

I am also running the Hogworkz Daymaker and I love it. I have a 16' Street Glide standard and I was legitimately nervous riding at night with the stock headlight. I knew in need to upgrade the light immediately but I was never going to purchase the Harley light with its hefty Harley tax markup. I found someone selling the Hogworkz on Craigslist and scooped it right up. It took less than 10 minutes to install and it is the single biggest change I've made to the bike. The path the light cuts thru the darkness is 4x wider and much further out than the stock headlight. I also noticed that cage drivers are annoyed by it and notice it much more during the day than the stock light, which is a huge bonus as far as I'm concerned. More visibility is more safety in my book. Get he light. It's well worth it.

Do you have any photos of the beam pattern? Has anyone had any issues with radio interference? I saw a video on JPCycles that said this light is one of the few that doesn't cause interference but that's been the main reason I haven't pulled the trigger.
