The BAL is hands down the brightest one out there, others don't even come close. Save your coins and do it right the first time. If you can only go $100 you might as well just pick something out on ebay.

My brake lights are set with 3 zaps, then max intensity. WOW, WOW, WOW - BAM!

Find somewhere else to save some coins.
I put on the Harley LED tail light last year.
Im happy with it, DOT, brighter then stock and cost is low compared to some of the others. Think I paid around $135 or so From Board Tracker or one of those.
Im sure it isnt as bright as the BAL, as anything that is DOT will not be. Dont get me wrong, if you want to spend the money get the BAL, if you just want a well made OEM brighter then stock LED at a good price then get the Harley.

I went with the BAL2, I would have liked the 3 but was told the laydown would be a supper tight fit and the 4 was way to much money for me. But it has 12 LEDs as opposed to the 4 LEDs in the BAL2 I bought.
