Each year Adventure HD puts on a Ladies Adventure Weekend (LAW). This year they had 249 lady riders from 9 states attend. Their guest speaker was Karen Davidson, daughter of Willie G. Karen went on one of the ladies rides but due to her departure flight, didn't have time to finish the ride. So, the dealership came to me wanting the fastest way back. The idea of her riding by herself in an unfamiliar area with an impending storm didn't sound good so I rode out + escorted her back. She had her pick of bikes + her choice was a CVO Breakout (her favorite new model). She personally owns an old shovel, an alum V-Rod, + a Road King (smart girl).
Anyway, what a nice girl, just like her dad + brother Bill. Unfortunately, didn't have my HOG vest with me, Bill signed it 2 years ago. But I did get her to autograph the helmet she used + the girls auctioned it off that nite. Honor + priviledge to ride with her. Had my RK wound tight just tryin to stay outta her way. That girl can ride..............who'd a thunkt it?

Ladies, if you're anywhere near here + want a REALLY great ladies only event, try to make it next year. You don't even have to ride, cage rides go out each day also. AND, all brands welcomed! Tons of pics + videos on Adventure's FB page. Check out the Friday nite vid of the girls police escorted ride to the motels after dinner at the dealership. Those poor LEO's had their hands full!

Not hero worship, it's called courtesy + respect. And I merely extended the same courtesy + respect to her that was extended to me by her dad + brother Bill when I met them. They took time outta their busy schedules to jaw with me like we were lifelong drinkin buddies. Karen is of the same mold. BTW, she has an active role in motorcloths + accesories. But I agree, it what's wrong with this country. No, not hero worship.....lack of COURTESY + RESPECT!
