Default Rubbing noise

When I get caught in the rain I get a rubbing noise? Never hear it during dry weather. I thinking pads or belt?? )(02 road King)

Interesting you say that. I experienced the same thing a couple of days ago. It sounded like it came from the front, and was only audible when the clutch was engaged, i.e. the engine "pulling". When I pulled the clutch or put it in neutral it was gone. Since I had crashed the bike a few days before I feared that it had something to do with that but since it wasn't audible when in neutral I figured it had nothing to do with the front so I kept going. Eventually the noise disappeared when it got dry, no that you mention it. Never occurred to me that it could have something to do with the rain! And also quite interesting that you obviously have a much older bike than me.
