Never considered it because I have a solo set up (see the sig pic) so the pak has to come off. I also have another pak on a solo detachable for this set up. I like the versatility this offers and can ride solo or 2 up with or without the pak

I had one of those mounted and it served the purpose and looked good actually. The one I bought came with a rack and the material this is made of is too thin to support the weight of the rack which caused hairline stress cracks around the rack mounting holes within 200 miles. I took the rack off and plugged the holes with little plastic hole plugs from the hardware store. I mounted a LED accessory brake light on top, no problems with that little bit of extra weight. My sweet wife bought us a HD toupack for Christmas so I have red aftermarket trunk from Ebayfor sale cheap if anyone is interested.

Does anyone know if you can put the wrap around backrest and/or speaker pods on one of these?

It looks like the way it opens you could put the wrap around backrest on but not the speaker pods.

Also does the removable hardware fiton the removable backrest harware or do I have to add more "pegs".

I guess this answers that last question.

Detachable Two-Up Tour-PakÂŽ Rack

Change your riding style in less than 60 seconds. The ultimate in touring flexibility, this Tour-PakÂŽ Rack makes the convenience and protection of a Chopped, King, or Leather Tour-PakÂŽ Luggage System a simple on-and-off proposition. Simple turn latches mount the rack to the bike's docking points, and allow you to replace the Tour-PakÂŽ with a detachable sissy bar upright for around-town cruising. The chrome-plated Detachable Rack positions a Tour-PakÂŽ behind the passenger pillion, and allows the passenger to use the luggage as a supporting backrest. Adjustable over a 3/4" range, the Tour-PakÂŽ can be located for maximum passenger room and comfort. Tour-PakÂŽ, Passenger Backrest Pad, and Docking Hardware Kit sold seperately.

The detachable two-up hardware attaches to the bike and is used only for the two-up detachable rack. A detachable sissy bar or solo detachable rack uses different hardware mounted to the bike. It's no problem to have both sets of mounting hardware on the bike to allow you to run with nothing on the bike; sissy bar; or detachable box on a two-up detachable rack--you just cant use the sissy bar and the TP at the same time.

pics of my MUTAZU.COM trunk can be seen here:

http://s153.photobucket.com/albums/s235/steveh326/

I am happy with the trunk. used the HD quick disconnect. drilled my own mounting holes... since I did thatI was able to just slide the trunk back to where my wife was comfortable, and drilled the holes there, no relocation kit necessary. so far so good. I did add some additional bracing underneat in the form of 1/4 x 1" aluminum. Quality is not near what the MoCo's tourpack is, but neither is the price. for the price, I consider it to be an OK value. I am anticipating getting 3-4 years from it with the limited usage I do. Used it for trip to MBBW 2 weeks ago and it worked awsome, no leaks in therain, held lots of stuff just fine.

Since they had one prepainted in pearl black already, I opted for the $189 one that matched my bike. Paint is about 95% match, I can see the diff but no one else notices it (thee's just not as many colored sparkles in the paint is all, only noticible if you look real close and in bright sunlight, otherwise it matches fine). for the price I can live with this.
