I agree with matt - this is obviously a sign from God. You mean there are other colors besides Vivid Black? Imagine that!

Black is a great color, IMO after seeing the black pearl in person, the vivid black was better looking, but if your heart is set, best let them keep that dep on a 08 with the understanding if you find another bike before it comes in they give you back every dime.
Yep - My brother had a sales agreement all wrote up on a Black Pearl RG. They had just completed prep on a Vivid Black they just received. He took one look at that and told em to rip up the sales agreement on the Black Pearl and change it to the Vivid Black.
That Vivid Black RG with the Red trim is a hot looking bike!

But, everyones taste is different. You get the color you want.

You deserve it!

Being still affiliated with the local Sheriff's department I could have bought a new 07 UC P.O.S. for a couple grand less with theLEO discount.. But I wanted White and the P.O.S doesn't come in White. Lucky for me the dealer had a white one coming in in September of 06 and I am glad I pick the white one.It cost moreand the black is good looking, but mine is what I wanted. I say get what you want and don't let anyone talk you out of it. Normally I have found when someone talks me out of something they didn't care about it as much as I did anyway.

Sales contract specifying color does not mean much if the factory sent the wrong color, read the fine print.

Wow. I have 5 dealers within a 40 minute drive of my house. Pretty much any color any day of the week you want. Especially on UC's. They seem to be plentiful at the dealers I've been in. Of course, it is getting to the end of the model year and they may be running out of some colors. Any reason you can't just buy one from a USA dealer and have it shipped or fly in and make a road trip out of it?

Tough choice. GladI don't have to make it. However you wont be happy with another color. I'd wait for the 08's they will probably have some of the 07 bugs worked out by then... Tranny, etc...

Make them do a dealer swap. Harley of Dallas has one on the floor.

You Canadian guys, I ordered mine at TD (Boundary)last fall. The process is you tell them the color and then they look at their allocation schedule ( which I saw as well)to see when a bike of this color will be coming in AND is not yet sold. When you say YES, then they put your name on the stock number and that's it. Factory errors are minimal. I think they may havesold your bike to someone else. Who was the dealer?
