Rust between the fender and the trybar
Cleaning my bike yesterday I notice rust between my rear fender and tribar. I have a 2014 Street Glide Special sand camo denim which is still under warranty. Has anyone experienced this on their Street Glide Special. How was it resolved? Was the fender replaced by Harley-Davidson?

It's because the weight of the light and the crap design of the fender fascia, let's that thing shake like crazy. Plus water and dirt gets in between the 2 and acts like sandpaper. A lot of guys complain about the fascia actually cracking down in the corners. When I installed the fascia on my old bike, I made some little supports out of aluminum flat stock to help hold the fascia tight against the back of the fender. If you have warranty I'd take it in and see if they'll fix it. Worst case they say no, but they might surprise you.
