'04 Wide Glide in first 100 miles--3 oil leaks, out of balance wheel, misaligned triple trees, deformed backrest (dealer took picure to send to factory), and a primary chain with 1 1/2 inches of slack (Harley spec calls for 3/8" to 5/8").
'06 Street Glide right out of the box--Mirrors mounted in wrong location, speakers rattling (others are starting to have this same issue), stereo display goes blank periodically, air temp gauge does not work. At about 900 miles a bolt fell off from my left floorboard.
None of this has anything to do with the dealer.
Funny thing is, if I don't buy that new Rocket III from Triumph I will probably get another Harley. Go figure.
