The decep pop is not harming your motor. It all depends how much it annoys you. Did the DNA affect performance otherwise?

Well I noticed when I open the throttle, first couple of seconds seemed hesitant before it "letting it go" so to speak.

Sounds like a flat spot due to loss of low end torque from a less baffled pipe. Some will say that's the consequence of more open pipes, but many have had success tuning that problem out. My Bassani DNTs are wide open and I have good power from a dead stop with the right tune. The Thunder Torques would help too. People like the Fulsac 2" baffle also which might fit your pipe. Either way, tuning sounds like the way to go and you already have a fully capable box...just need a knowledgable operator to tweak it.

Your motor isn't being damaged, but that performance would be annoying to live with.

Well my bike was running so poorly I ended up taking off my DNAs and put my Screamin' Eagle mufflers back. So that's my last update.
