Hello, Just Bought a 2015 flrtx, how do i tell if it is security enabled? no fobs or manuel when purchased, no light on dash, just starts right up, i can lock the forks though. Hard to believe no anti-theft was installed on a 2015? Can anyone help
Welcome to the forums, if you don't have a fob, and there is no blinking red light on the dash, you do not have a security system. You will still have a fork and ignition lock. Flip the cover on the ignition to the side to uncover the key slot.
I'm guessing you're talking about a Road Glide model. The security system is a stock item on a FLTRX (Road Glide Special). It is an option on the FLTR (Road Glide). A quick way to visually tell the difference between the two models is to check whether your bike has the factory pin striping. Bigger touch screen on the radio? GPS? If not, you may have purchased a FLTR.
If your bike doesn't have the security system installed from the factory, you can still add it later if you want. $360 for the system module, and an additional $100 for the siren.

as above this can be an option- on many models it is packaged with cruise control and ABS.
there are base models, option packages, and premium models with more standard features- priced accordingly from H-D.
the security module can be added which will prevent the bike from running.
ABS cannot be added - the cost is prohibitive
for an audible alarm, many of us use a $6 radio shack siren rather than spend 10 x that at the dealer
anyone with security should right now learn how to set and enter the PIN from the turn signals to disarm the security should the fob not work
the owners manual should be in one of your bags- it'll help you get familiar with your new bike

I paid $6.00 for my siren from Radio Shack.
Mine came with Security System but no siren. Siren is an option.
