For about half the money I got this instead. https://www.amazon.com/Kuryakyn-1077.../dp/B0050DCC6W Looks the same. I've logged around 5k on it with zero issues.

You want good heim joints on what ever you choose.
A few years ago a forum member found a GREAT deal on some and posted pics, man we cleaned that place OUT! Great ones do not have to cost an arm and a leg.

Be real careful if you go to a non OEM Heim joint. They need to be loose. Most are actually quite firm. The standard OEM non Heim regular shifter is designed that way for a reason. Heim will cause all kinds of shift problems since there needs to be a little play. You need to be able to move the Heim sphere with just you thumb and pointer finger.

The smooth one you are looking at works well. It is the least expensive one with Heim joints that Harley sells. I have added mostly smooth un decorated chrome pieces. It looks good and has quality and well chromed hardware. I've had mine for at least 50,000 miles with no problems. It's not the cheapest you can find but it works as well as any and I like using factory parts.

I tried to get the one that has Road King written on it but apparently they aren't made by HD anymore so I got the one shown above. Very high quality as would be expected. I also added the inner primary cover and lower engine cover on the same side of the engine so I have lots of bling there now lol.
