So over the last 2 years ive played the game of trying to save a few bucks after doing basic Stage1. Did the Vied first and had pinging I could never get rid of. Sold those and bought a SuperChips flash tuner, should have solved based on reviews and reading but not much better. Some days ran good some days couldnt keep up with buddies due to marbles. Chased the bad gas routes and different plugs until this fall decided to go for real tuner. Many will say should have gone PV but I went FP3 and this thing flat out solved all my issues. Great throttle response , no pinging and no deceleration pops. I wanted to go FP3 originally but didnt make for mine until this year. So looking forward to the next riding season!
It's the 1st thing I did to my all stock 16. A month before I gutted the cat and added slip ons. Imo it's worth it even if you're leaving it stock. Night and day difference.

CA model has to be with in the C.A.R.B. specs. Has restrictions which doesn't allow it operate at its fullest. Give V&H a call they can explain a little better.
Installed an FP3 along with a V&H exhaust and air cleaner when I got my 1k mile service. Considered a couple different options but this just seemed the most simple and cost effective way to have my bike running smooth. I have a performance bike so I'm not chasing numbers on a graph with this one. Just wanted it to cool down a bit and run efficiently. Less than 15 minutes to flash a map and noticed an immediate difference!!! Messed around with the auto tune just to see if i could improve upon it even more. Bike runs great and totally exceeds my expectations. Haven't had a single issue 5k+ miles later
